Because of this great moment in history I am going to make a list. A list with ratings! Maybe i’ll even make a prologue in italics.
Nah, lets just get right to it. As far as ratings go I was thinking of an “Awesome” rating. And a “Stupid Financial Decision” rating, where the higher the number the stupider it was. As a bonus I’ll throw in a ranking of where the car lands on my list.

First up is the first car I owned. 1969 Volkswagen Beetle. Bought it at the age of 14. Sadly I have no before pictures, but it was originally a nature-created reddish orange (original color was red) with rust. My brother (16 at the time) and I decided it would be fun to do some custom body & paint. By custom body work I mean just shaving the slots where the bumpers went. He had the fun job of painting while he made me do all the sanding >.>
Looked amazing from about 30 feet away.
Awesome Rating: 10/10
SFD Rating: 5/10
Favorite rank: #5

Next up was a 1995 Camaro. 3.4 V6 automatic. Flowmasters and Borbet wheels. I’d rather not say much more about this car.
Awesome Rating: 2/10
SFD Rating: 2/10
Favorite rank: #9

My 3rd car was a 1997 Honda Prelude I bought with front end damage. Kind of fun car. I did make the stupid decision of having my brother talk me into having it painted with a chameleon paint. So yeah...
Awesome Rating: 4/10
SFD Rating: 6/10

This is where things started getting more fun. Car #4 was a 1994 Mazda RX-7 that

Silver with red leather AND a warranty. Car had an automatic, I know... but shortly after buying it the transmission went out. I was able to work with a local shop to have it swapped with a manual while still using the warranty. Shortly after the transmission got finished the motor blew. It was around 95k miles at this point on its original motor so it was bound to happen. Brand new motor under warranty and then I wreck it 500 miles later due to a combination of shit road conditions and shit teenager owning it.
Awesome Rating: 10/10

After that terrible loss I drowned my sorrows into a 2001 BMW 330ci. This was long before I knew about the BMW stigma. Car was silver with red leather in case you were wondering if I was still missing my RX7. This time I bought the car with a manual transmission that came from the factory. So that was a plus. Only mods I did to this one were Bilstein PSS9's, SSR’s, some beefy UUC sways and a UUC short shifter.
oh, and for a minute I had this horrible thing on the front:

330ci ownership had me amazed they made an even better version of the E46. So in 2004 I ordered an M3. My first new car. And also my first majorly stupid financial decision. I honestly don’t want to talk about this car because of that. Paid for this thing for years even though I owned it for one. There might be a reason why I couldn’t find any pictures of it. So I just grabbed one off Google of what it looked like. In case nobody knows what an E46 M3 looks like. Just trying to be consistent here.
Awesome Rating: 7/10

Ok, brief truck phase. 2005 Nissan Titan. Fox coilovers, Rockstar wheels BEFORE THEY BECAME POPULAR TRUST ME.
Awesome Rating: 10/10 in 2005 1/10 in 2016

Favorite rank: #7

And here is the car I owned the longest. 8 cars in 10 years finally caught up to me financially, and I paid for it. Of all the cars that I owned it was a 2008 Lancer GTS with a CVT that I kept the longest. Depressing.
Awesome Rating: 3/10
SFD Rating: 10/10

After beginning to be less-stupid with my money I ended up trading in that piece of tinfoil for a 2014 Focus ST. Loved the car. It was just good to be in something fun again. I’ve wrote about the car enough with the past so I’ll just keep it at that.
Awesome Rating: 9/10

Which brings us to the new one. My 2016 Camaro SS. Red leather of course. It's a thing I like. I didn’t waste any time doing stuff to it. Seeing as how talking about new cars can be a bore I’ll just end it here.
Awesome Rating: 9000/10
SFD Rating: -9000/10
Favorite rank: #2 but will probably be #1 here shortly.

Wait, where where you racing the RX-7 back then?
Also, I enjoy the history of terrible license plates NE has had over the years. Blehh.

This is the kind of obsessive post that keeps me checking Oppo throughout the day.

Remember that time they had the race downtown Hastings and that car flew into a crowd of people? Yep.

I do indeed, I was there... We were leaving when it happened and just were on the other side of the parking lot. Scary stuff.

Yes. This is good Oppo. Unless you mean good for me, which reading long posts Oppo when I really should be working isn’t but it’s worth it.

I had won my class and was in the final. Each class winner was supposed to drive a new Grand Am brought from Jerry Spady for the overall champion. But then that happened and it was cancelled. A horrible day.

I’m thinking you really like the 2016 SS?
The gold wheels really finish it off nicely.

I had everything sold to fellow ST guys in my local group within 48 hours anyways lol. If I ever get married I'm sure I'll be trading the Camaro in for a Chevrolet SS but I don't see that say coming for awhile.

You would also have to put a red Pontiac badge on the grille in place of the bow tie, and gold Trans am decal on the trunk, or rear window.
